Microsoft Security Essentials 4.2 for Windows 8

Microsoft has just launched a new version of its Security Essentials 4.2.223.1, comes with both x86 and x64 builds and is compatible with all Windows versions, including Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP and unofficially Windows 8 (by First Ever Mod). Updates for the anti-virus software will be delivered through Microsoft Updates KB2804527, but it doesn’t work on Windows 8. The following tutorial shows you how to install it on Windows 8!

Why Microsoft Security Essentials?

This is not an official updater! The MSE files have not been modified!
It supports Windows 8 RTM build 9200, but may work with older versions too.

Browser Wars 2013 Part 1 (January)

Browser Wars is a metaphorical term that refers to competitions for dominance in usage share in the web browser marketplace. The term is often used to denote two specific rivalries: the competition that saw Microsoft’s Internet Explorer replace Netscape’s Navigator as the dominant browser during the late 1990’s and the erosion of Internet Explorer’s market share since 2003 by a collection of emerging browsers including Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, and Opera.
